Although already a year old, I just found this fantastic article from Forbes magazine contributor Robert Laura. His article titled, Would You Join A Multi-Level Marketing Company For Retirement Income?, remains very relevant and hit close to home with me because of the "regular everyday people" Robert chose to interview for his presentation, but mostly because of his shift in perspective and transformation of attitude towards Network Marketing as a REAL solution for our times, Mr. Laura no longer perceives these types of opportunities as money-making pyramid schemes.

One of the reasons I call Network Marketing "the hardest work" is because fundamentally, it is a "relationship business". No one reaches the top of any company's ladder without building, working with and leading a team. The promise is: Build the relationships first, the abundance will surely follow. For actually doing "the hardest work", we are paid very, very well.
The 3-way call is one of the most effective tools we have in our toolbox. It is always shocking to me when one refuses the opportunity to do one! When it is used correctly and in context, it is an incredible way to sign up more reps and customers, build better relationships and to train, 3-way calls are at the heart and foundation of this business model.
This important fundamental is probably the most misunderstood, over-looked and under-utilized tool in Network Marketing. If I told you that this simple task would ensure the growth of a huge network, and allow you to help more people, wouldn't you want to know why?

This past summer while enjoying a cold beverage in the shade of the backyard, my friend made a remark that I have thought about ever since. We were talking about business things and in a break in the conversation he made the statement, “there’s a LOT of MLM in this town.”
Without hesitation I replied, “It’s not a sign of the town it’s a sign of the times.”
It Starts With The Tried & True Fundamentals…
Did you know that building a successful business comes down to just a handful of activities? It’s true of any goal. If you were allowed to shadow a very successful person through their day, you would see that they are always practicing a few fundamentals with CONSISTENCY. If you can master the five (income producing) activities below and do them consistently, you will find yourself and your Jeunesse team at the top.
If I could open the top of your head, insert a "concept", close you back up and send you on your way with "knowing", I would give you the gift of understanding the power and importance of something we call "auto-ship", often a requirement in the multi-level playing field. I love the personal freedom that working from home provides. The commute: down the stairs. The grind: regular or dark roast? I get to do what I want, where I want with whomever I want to. Full-time income for part-time effort. My Plan B became my Plan A eventually.
